In 1904, Giacobini Vermouth, made with native Calabrian grape varieties, was awarded a Gold Medal at the St. Louis World's Fair. This event marked a turning point: Calabria ousted the Piedmontese hegemony, earning its rightful place in the Olympus of excellent Vermouth producers.

120 years later, Giacobini Vermouth Organic Red triumphs at the World Vermouth Awards 2024 as the best Vermouth in the world, with the following tasting notes: “Complex aromatic notes of red fruits and mountain herbs open the palate to delicate spices of cinnamon and cassia, perfectly integrated with woody and resinous hints. The flavors of bitter bark and ripe cherry evolve into a bitterness of tobacco and wormwood, completing the profile of this delicious Vermouth.”

Giacobini Vermouth Organic White was awarded the Bronze Medal at the World Vermouth Awards 2024.

Tasting analysis: fresh coriander seeds, wildflowers, and mountain herbs dominate the nose. This leads to a sweet palate that evolves into a bitterness of grapefruit peel, culminating in a delightful finish of bitter orange and a lingering honeyed sensation in the mouth.
